Gravel comparisons should account for tire, fork and intended terrain before drawing conclusions.
Stack, reach, wheelbase, chainstay length, head tube angle, trail and maximum tire clearance are useful starting points for a gravel geometry comparison. Check the size and configuration for each recorded value.
A gravel bike may balance stability, tire clearance and pedaling position differently from a road or mountain bike. Geometry numbers describe the frame; they do not predict performance on every surface or rider.
